Community Guidelines

 SERVICE PROVIDER GUIDELINES:  

Kwebo is passionate about connecting everyday citizens to quality service providers, hence we promote the Kwebo values to ensure the best quality, reliable, safe and successful environment. In return we ask for your timely response should you encounter any issues by using our platform. If you suspect that a user has violated our community guidelines to please report this to Kwebo ASAP on our help page.

Kwebo takes breaches of the community guidelines seriously. If our team receives reports that you have breached any of the guidelines below, we may take action to remove any content, requests or quotes you have submitted on the Kwebo platform or cancel or suspend Your account and/or any accepted jobs.

Sharing private information

To maintain security and integrity confidential information such as addresses is only shared once quotes have been accepted.

To protect your safety and security, private contact details or 3rd party links are not allowed to be shared in any areas of the Kwebo platform including any comments and attachments. This includes, but is not limited to, business websites, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, personal emails, phone numbers, addresses or personal websites. It is in your best interest to utilise communication and transactions within the Kwebo platform to protect you as a user or service provider.

Unacceptable behaviours

At the heart of Kwebo Technologies is the community. Mutual respect is essential to ensure the success of the community. Kwebo Technologies does not tolerate the following negative behaviours against other members of the Kwebo community or Kwebo staff:

  • Hatred or violence

  • Discrimination

  • Bullying

  • Harassment

  • Illegal behaviour

  • Trolling

 

Unsupported practices

Kwebo Technologies goal is bringing users in the community together to create an environment of trust. We do not support the following activities within the Kwebo community, as it can negatively impact the creation of a fair, transparent and a trustworthy environment:

  • Fraudulent Kwebo reviews

  • Artificially improving public profile

  • No alcohol related requests

  • No sexual related requests

  • Discussion forum

  • Harvesting member information

  • Lead generation

 

Pricing and payments

To ensure a safe and rewarding environment for all members of the Kwebo community, it's important to understand how pricing and payments work.

Quote prices

      Offers must be hourly, unit based for users to understand the breakdown of the services offered. Partial quotes mentioning further          negotiation of prices off the platform are also not supported.

  • Kwebo Payment Account

      Cash payments are not supported on the Kwebo platform.  This is for your safety as Kwebo ensures you get paid for a request as            funds are securely held until the request is complete.

  • Accurate banking details

      To ensure seamless transition of funds, please ensure your banking details are up to date in your payment settings on your profile.

 

Accountability and your reputation

You remain accountable for both your behaviour on the Kwebo platform and outcome of each job you are assigned to. Your responsibilities include:

  • Fulfilment of the request requirements

      Service providers (Kwebo Partners) are expected to provide the services as agreed with the requester.

  • Managing other service providers involved

 

      The service provider assigned to the request is responsible for the actions of any service providers they arrange to assist them in            providing the services agreed with the requester. If the service provider assigned chooses to subcontract others to perform the              services agreed with the requester, the service provider must gain the requester’s consent. The service provider assigned to the              request must also ensure that all service providers assisting them have a Kwebo user account.

      For requests completed in-person, you must attend to check that the request requirements are met even if you requested other              service providers to assist with the request.

  • The experience you provide for other members

      Service providers must not repetitively provide poor experiences for other members of the Kwebo community.

      We remind you that where Kwebo receives reports that you have breached any of these guidelines, we may take action to remove            any content, or cancel or suspend your account and/or any accepted jobs.

Account eligibility

We know you're eager to set up an account and get started on Kwebo, but we need you to make sure you qualify for the below:

  • 18 years or older:

      All members of the Kwebo community must be 18 years or older. This is a legal requirement as people under the age of 18 are not        able to enter a legal contract with Kwebo. Kwebo reserves the right to request proof of age should this be necessary.

  • Legal working rights:

      All service providers must be legally entitled to perform the service request. To maintain the highest standards in the Kwebo                  community, we seek to avoid situations that may cause legal risks to any of our members.

  • No duplicate accounts

      Members of the Kwebo community may only have a single, active account on the platform. As your account reflects your reputation        in the marketplace and represents your skills and abilities, any duplicate accounts attempting to disguise a member's history, will be        removed immediately. This means that all content posted by additional accounts will be removed and any associated accepted jobs        will be cancelled.

Account administration

Now that you understand a little more about Kwebo, we have some important information regarding accounts.

  • No account transfers

      Your account is your responsibility and you must maintain control of it. It must not be transferred to another person as your account        and reviews reflect your skills and abilities.

  • No duplicate accounts

      Members may only have a single, active account on the platform. As your account reflects your reputation in the marketplace and          represents your skills and abilities, any duplicate accounts attempting to disguise a member's history, will be removed immediately

  • Cooperating with other members of the Kwebo community and Kwebo staff

      Where members of the Kwebo community or Kwebo Staff reach out to request information, both requesters and service providers          are required to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

 

Identity on Kwebo

Kwebo is committed to building a community platform that is a positive and safe environment for all. This commitment is grounded in the principles of transparency and respect. To help foster trust in the community, all members are required to have a profile photo and name that accurately identifies them.

Fake/ miscellaneous photos & names are not permitted on the Kwebo platform. Members that do not have an accurate profile photo or name that meets Kwebo standards will be asked to change their details.

Kwebo profile standards

  • Name

      Your real name as confirmed by your identification documents (passport, drivers’ licence etc).

  • Profile photo

      A clear front-on profile photo of a member’s face, so it’s easily recognisable for other members.

 

 

 

Service requester guidelines

The Kwebo platform aims to give you everything that you need from service providers. To create a safe, respectful and rewarding environment, we need you to follow the Guidelines below:

  • Requests must be legal

  • No escort or adult services

  • Clear scope, time and budget required

  • No advertising

  • Legitimate service requests

  • No alcohol related requests

To ensure a safe and rewarding environment for all members of the Kwebo community, it's important to understand how pricing and payments work.

  • No partial payments

      Any offers made on your request should be for the full scope of the request. When you accept an offer, that is the final amount that        you're obligated to pay and there are no additional fees. Requests offering partial payment, including sales and commission-based          requests, are not permitted and will be moderated and/or removed.

  • Kwebo Payment Account

      Cash payments are not supported on the Kwebo platform.  This is for your safety as Kwebo ensures you get paid for a request as            funds are securely held until you mark the request as complete.

  • Accurate banking details

      To ensure seamless transition of funds, please ensure your banking details are up to date in your payment settings on your profile.

  • Payment with VISA or Mastercard

      All requests must be remunerated via credit or debit Mastercard or VISA card process via the Kwebo platform. Cash or cash                  equivalent payments are not supported.

Accountability for request outcomes

When you accept a service providers quote on your request, you and the service provider remain accountable for your behaviour on the Kwebo platform and the outcome of the request.

Your responsibilities include:

      We remind you that where Kwebo receives reports that you or service providers have breached any of these guidelines, we may take        action to remove any content, or cancel or suspend your/their account and/or any accepted jobs.
